Tan Choh Tee, born in 1942. the 2006 Cultural Medallion recipient for Visual Arts conferred by the Singapore Government. Studied at the Nayang Academy of Fine Arts where he was taught by pioneer artists such as Cheong Soo Pieng, Liu Kang and Georgette Chen.

Master Tan is renowned for his impressionist oil paintings in landscape and still life. The intense colours and brushworks resonate with the viewers deepest emotions.
