Dr Ng King Kang 吴 庆 康
Dr Ng King Kang is a media personality, an author and a lyricist. Dr Ng has been in the media industry for a quarter century and is well recognized as one of the most respected journalists in Singapore. His writing has earned a mention by the Prime Minister Mr Lee Hsien Loong at the National Day Rally 2012.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the National University of Singapore (NUS) , a master’s degree in Mass Communication from Nayang Technological University (NTU) and a PhD from Deakin University (Geelong, Australia)
Dr Ng has thus far written eighteen books (two in English) and is also a prolific song-writer, having penned hundreds of Chinese songs since the mid-eighties. King Kang has written songs for Jacky Cheung, Andy Lau, Arron Kwok, William Su, Power Station, Na Ying, Dick Lee, Fann Wong, Zoe Tay, Mavis Hee, Jimmy Ye, Eric Moo, GiGi Leong etc. In addition, he sings and has recorded four albums to date.
Dr Ng has a passion for photography and travels extensively. To date, he has visited 280 cities in 70 countries around the globe.
