Lucie Lacava (A.K.A. Luci)

Luci is a Canadian multidisciplinary artist based in Montreal, born in Italy and raised in Switzerland. Her early experiences of migration shaped a sensitivity to duality, adaptation, and impermanence—concepts that continue to inform her practice.

Introduced to watercolour at a young age, she later earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University. Her background in media design sharpened her sense of composition and visual clarity. Lacava’s connection to Singapore includes her collaboration with The Straits Times during its transition from print to digital.

Her recent works explore flora as both subject and metaphor—reflecting strength within fragility and the transient beauty of life. Through fluid forms and dissolving edges, her paintings evoke moments of transformation and quiet reflection.

Her works have been exhibited at The Gallery at Victoria Hall and Casa d’Italia, Montreal.
